The following is from a forum on deoxy.org. I’m glad that our contributions to radio4all.net are bearing fruit, and that people are listening and paying attention. Notes from One very callous president, by Michael Ketter [originally broadcast at 0300 UTC in Sunday, September 4, 2005, on WBCQ 7.415 -- Lw] (the rant starts 10 minutes [...]

This was originally presented at 2200 UTC on Saturday, September 24, 2005, on WBCQ 7.415 MHz worldwide shortwave, and simulcast on the ‘net in the usual places. We got reports of excellent shortwave reception in Oklahoma, Missouri, Minnesota, and Connecticut. Oddly enough west Texas couldn’t get a signal. It’s that time of the year when [...]

The following article by Tim Wise originally appeared on www.counterpunch.com, in the September 3/4 weekend edition. “Those Looters Should be Shot, Praise the Lord, and Pass the Guacamole!” This is an open letter to the man sitting behind me at La Paz today, in Nashville, at lunchtime, with the Brooks Brothers shirt: You don’t know [...]

Our 55th adventure on the airwaves was originally broadcast live at 2200 UTC, Saturday, September 10, 2005, on WBCQ 9.330 MHz. WBCQ’s 7.415 MHz service suffered a failure on startup this afternoon so we were on this special alternate service. Conditions were variable here with 9330 going from awful to reasonably listenable by around a [...]

Our 54th show was recorded on Thursday, September 8, 2005, at 0103 UTC on 975pirateradio.com. This absoultely wonderful monstrosity was broadcast to at least one internet listener for eventual retransmission on WBCQ. More push pins for the reception report map to just south of St. Louis. It’s really wonderful when we can acheive our goal [...]

Tonight WBCQ’s 7415 faded out around 0130, but I find 5105 booming better than ever here at 0220. Too bad it’s only Rod Hembree’s typical religious broadcast. 9330 nowhere to be found. Conditions are disturbed across the bands from this storm. WWCR 5070 very strong here with nothing of interest to listen to. WWRB 6890 [...]

From listener reports, we were inaudible in Missouri, Connecticut and eastern Pennsylvania, barely there in Arizona, but booming in Oklahoma Minnesota, and Indiana. [...]
