2145, 6940 usb. Old Vampire Radio. Creepy story with yf. "Ghosts in white linens" Moody Blues parody at 2158, followed by "This is the old vampire radio." SIO 555 s9-s20. At 2200, ID again, and "73s" and "All my friends are vampires" song. Off at 2202. Excellent signal that overpowered the R-75 at times.

2225, 6925 usb. Rock and punk music, and "This is the Voice of Hell" at 2232. 2236, punk music with "fuck you motherfuckers" and "fuck you!" in the lyrics. VOH ID at 2238. Off at 2240. SIO 333/434 s5.

2242, 6925 lsb. Immediately after the Voice of Hell signed off, noticed active 'pescadories' on 6925 lower side band. One side of the conversation much better but both audible. On past 2246. s3.

2246, 6925 usb. Possum Huntin' Radio. A girl gasping, a chime, and thunderstorm sounds, a news report. Scary garage rock music with lots of sound bytes. Nice metal music at 2256. A very entertaining program. ID at 2254. Faded out by 2311. SIO 433/544 s9. [r]

At 2029, Mike Gaukin announces a bid for president with Sierra Poo Poo as his running mate. Implores listeners not to vote for Bunny and Kracker. Senator Craig "I am not gay" clips. Into WBNY Bunny/Kracker president commercial at 2054 and a couple of minutes later into WTPR Tire Pressure Update. Off at 2106. Immediately thereafter with a much weaker signal, someone said "uh oh" and "aa aaa aaa" (in a Sesame Street Count style).

After a day of air travel and a long drive to northern Maine, we were kind of crufty and loose. This show opened up our Fall Tour, and as expected, was full of all kinds of annoying laptop jamba, burgers on the grill, and lively commentary.

Radio Jamba International Fall Tour

Vacation time is rapidly approaching. It's been a long time coming this year. We're doing a New England Tour, and are planning to visit various places, have a lot of fun, and get on the air on WBCQ. Here is a tentative itenary of our planned appearances on live on-air broadcasts.

  • Wed 10/10 5pm ET 2200 UTC Radio Timtron Worldwide in Skowhegan
  • Fri 10/12 7pm ET 2300 UTC 867-5309 ? (tentative, depending on Near Fest)
  • Sat 10/13 6pm ET 2200 UTC Lumpy Gravy Radio Show at Grits Radio studio
  • Sun 10/14 11pm ET 0300 UTC Hour of Slack at Grits Radio studio

We are going to visit the Yard and do some shows from our radio ship, the M/S Katie, but they will likely be recorded for future exploitation and not aired live, but who knows? If we can swipe internet access we may get on air from the boat.
