This one went out at 2200 UTC on WBCQ 7.415 MHz worldwide international shortwave. Today the secret connection between North Haven and North Attleboro was revealed, as were secrets for dealing with your redneck neighbors' whiny dogs, and unbeatable hangover remedies. Great reception from New York, Michigan, Maryland, Louisiana, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, to name but a few. A couple of new listeners chimed in today as well!

Dropped to 6924.1 usb by 0038. Dixieland jazz in usb at 0039 with drop-outs. Definitely a test transmission! ID at 0040, and Bill Cooper-like theme. Multiple IDs, off at 0041.

SIO 433. Lots of noise on the band tonight.

Lumpy Weiner Worldwide

Once again, we took the reigns of Allan Weiner's weekly radio show and morphed it into something rather different that what it normally is. We discussed the Voice of Freedom Radio, some high points on the WBCQ schedule, modulating oscillator circuits, played some Allman Brothers jams featuring "My Favorite Things," and took some phone calls.
