Our home internet relay chat (rc) server network, zirc.org, has apparently gone to sleep since last evening. I have parked in #rfma and #krackerradio on irc.starchat.net to keep our sclhob chat alive.

A kook/troll has just invaded a web site that you administer and posted a lot of offtopic nonsense to one of the message boards on the site. You should:

  1. Ignore it and hope it goes away?
  2. Ask the troll nicely what his offtopic material has to do with the forum's subject and that he/she/it should consider an alternative method of getting his message heard, such as blogger or yahoo?
  3. Have some of your black hat friends make the troll's life on the inetrnet a living hell?
  4. Delete the troll's account, remove all his posts, and ban the entire internet subnet he/she/it uses on the internet?
